Technical Aspects:

And there are some technical aspects in photography that you must follow to be able to click perfect pictures. You should consider some composition rules before taking pictures. These guidelines will help you compose shots that are more visually appealing, hold attention, and stand out from the rest.

  • Simplify your scene and if your shot is losing impact due to a busy background or surroundings, then crop in tight around your main point of focus, thus eradicating the background so all attention falls on the main subject.

  • You should keep an eye on the edges of your frame to make sure the person or animal you’re clicking hasn’t had any of their body parts chopped off.

  • Using frames can isolate your subject, thus getting the eye directly to it. They can also hide unwanted items behind it, giving an image depth and help create context.

  • You need to be clear about your focus.

  • Take a good look at your background before you take your shot and if feasible, find a background that is not very flashy.

  • Remember that compositional aspects complement each other. For example, be careful with the size of objects you use and how you place them, as you don’t want the shot to be thrown off balance.
