Park-street cemetery is the oldest graveyard in the country. During the British era, in the year 1767. The centuries-old tombs and structures here are a piece of art themselves and this place has a strange beauty to it. People have felt weird things here like dizzy, breathless and strange sounds. Photographers even caught eerie shadows between the tombs in their pictures. Nobody enters here after sunset.

Kolkata Dock

Nawab Wajid Ali Shah of Awadh built the Kolkata dock. The British betrayed him by giving him false hope about giving him shelter in London. Nawab Saheb waited here for a long time. But instead, the Government dumped him and he spent his remaining life in the dock. His soul still wanders the dock to take his revenge on the British. Many sailors and soldiers who lost their lives here, wait with him. People have witnessed strange things which left them paralyzed in fright.

The Rabindra sarobar metro station is haunted. This metro station has the maximum number of suicide cases.  Many people have seen and felt strange things like shadows jumping onto the trail. Unusual shadows can be seen on the walls when the station is empty. People say that the soul of the ones who died here wander the station at night-time. It is the most haunted metro station in Kolkata

Writer’s Building

This building was the office of junior staff and clerks during the British era. People who came from distant to lodge their grievances and complaints often returned empty handed. 100-year-old Putulbari or the house of dolls is a haunted house in north Kolkata. In an area where each and every inch is valuable and a residence to live very much in demand, the massive upper floors of this vast mansion are still vacant. The most unpleasant screams are heard from upstairs after dark. No-one has the courage to go up-stairs after sunset. A zamindar used this mansion as a rendezvous. Where he used to bring females for his desire as some people say. The name Putulbari is because of the figures of dolls imprinted into the arcs of the house. 

Wipro Office

One of the spookiest places in Kolkata. Wipro Kolkata is possibly the only workplace in India that cautions its workers to stay away from certain parts of the building. Like, the 3rd floor of tower 3. This place was once a graveyard before the Wipro office. It had seen many murders and rapes. The workers of the corporation have often stated strange happenings in the restrooms and entrances of the office.

Nimtala Crematorium

This is in central Kolkata. Nimtala Crematorium is the oldest cremation place in Kolkata. The Aghoris come to this place on the Kali Puja nights. Feed on the leftovers of those who have been incinerated and are asked to rouse paranormal activities. The thought of this itself is super scary.
